A weekend to make, create and unwind
Bring your latest project, gather your crafty friends and escape to Wiston Lodge for a weekend dedicated to creativity, connection and a little well-deserved time for yourself.
Our Crafting Retreat is the perfect opportunity to step away from the everyday, settle into a cosy creative space and spend a whole weekend doing what you love. Whether you enjoy knitting, crochet, painting, papercrafts, sewing or another creative hobby, there’s room to make it your own.
With dedicated crafting tables, welcoming communal spaces, delicious meals and a programme of optional activities, you can spend your weekend creating at your own pace, sharing ideas and enjoying the company of fellow crafters.
Make yourself at home
We’ll have dedicated creative spaces ready for you, including our Craft Studio and Makers’ Lounge, with plenty of room to spread out your projects and get stuck in.
Best of all, your projects can stay set up throughout the weekend. No need to pack everything away at the end of each session — simply leave your work ready and pick up where you left off.
When you fancy a break, head to our Knit and Natter Lounge for a cup of tea or coffee, a chat and some relaxed downtime. You’re welcome to bring your own alcoholic drinks to have with meals or in the evening if you like.
A little something extra
Alongside plenty of free time for your own projects, the weekend will include optional wreath-making workshops with Imogen, a welcome evening with alcohol-free cocktails (bring you own alcohol to add if you like!) and a fun icebreaker, plus our Big Wiston Craft Challenge.
We’ll also share meals together throughout the weekend, from Friday’s welcome dinner to a traditional Sunday roast before heading home.

Whether you’re planning a weekend with friends, organising a get-together for your craft group or simply looking forward to meeting people who share your interests, you’ll find a welcoming space at Wiston Lodge.
Accommodation
Accommodation will primarily be in shared bedrooms within the main lodge as well as our cabins, with a maximum of 4 people per room. We have limited single-occupancy rooms (first come first served). If coming with a group of friends, you will be together in the same room.
