Why Volunteer ?
Volunteers help charities to deliver work that benefits the community and the individual. You’ll receive training and gain new skills, increased confidence, meet new people and contribute to causes that make a real difference. Here at Wiston Lodge we welcome volunteers of all ages.
Youth volunteers are vital to our busy school holiday activity programmes. You’ll receive valuable work experience while being fully supported to gain transferable skills that will be a worthwhile addition to CVs and applications. Many of our recent youth volunteers have gone on to careers as outdoor instructors. See our Youth Volunteering page for more details.
As an adult volunteer, you already have expertise that can help us make our plans a reality by helping us make headway with big projects and ongoing works. We’ve had well over 150 volunteers from all over the world since 2007 – some of our permanent staff started with us as volunteers. Whatever your background, we’d love to hear from you.
