We welcome like-minded organisations looking for a place to host events. By coming here you invest in our work with young people.
Wiston Lodge is a secluded and spacious setting for professional development, training, creative work and retreats. We welcome all groups and our rates support organisations whose educational aims tie in with our charity’s work.
What you get: a large Victorian house and grounds. Our accommodation is designed to benefit the youth groups at the heart of our work and as such the beautiful former hunting lodge can sleep 48 people in ten bunked family and dorm-style rooms. In the grounds, our three heated cabins can sleep 18. For meetings and activities, the main house has several comfortable spaces of varying sizes.
Home-cooked meals and warm, safe accommodation is the foundation on which all our services are based – these can be tailored to you, whether it’s for a day or a stay. All our visiting groups are provided with duty manager support for emergencies. You can add activities with our highly-trained instructors, and further staff support. Our kitchen staff are highly experienced in catering for special dietary requirements.
We take a strong interest in supporting the development work of others and in facilitating stays that help groups to thrive. From your first call, to designing activities, to discussing your group’s accommodation and meals, we listen.
Amazing staff and beautiful rooms. An incredible outdoor space. I felt the stress leaving my body through the days I spent with you. And I will cherish all the little moments I have had walking in the forest looking up at Tinto.
