Children at all levels learn more effectively through experiences. Our programmes feed into the Curriculum for Excellence and its core skills for personal development. Across all activities, safety comes first, followed by fun and learning.
We can design a residential programme of activities, or a day session. The ratio of instructors to children is tailored to the group to ensure a high-quality experience for each child. For children aged under age eight, groups are kept smaller. Regardless of age, the number of instructors depends on the needs of the children.
Our 53-acre wooded estate has limitless scope for feeding children’s imagination and helping them to master new skills. Outdoor adventures can include high ropes, climbing wall, canoeing, rafting, orienteering, archery and bushcraft. We also have skilled drum circle facilitators, craft and puppeteering workshops. Our Path of the Little People interpretative trail can be included in all our programmes.
The young people thoroughly enjoyed their visit and I was so impressed at how the team were able to identify and promote the skills of each individual young person.
