Story telling with the Wee folk of the Woods

We’ve got a great afternoon lined up for end of November to start our winter events. Join story tellers Kirsten Milliken and David Hughes for a guided walk with tales about nature and otherworldly creatures. There will also be some nature based games and creative activities, and the afternoon will end with more stories, hot drinks and toasted marshmallows by the fire.

This event, on Saturday, 25 November, is part of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival’s Go Local strand, with storytellers up and down the country bringing tales to life. Traditional story telling is thriving as children and adults rediscover the power of hearing tales told by experienced practitioners.

Kirsten and David will be ready to start at 12.30pm so arrive in the carpark 15-20 mins before then, and the event will run for three hours. Tickets are £8 per child, with one adult free! Tickets for extra adults (those not accompanying a child) are £4 each. No charge for babies in arms.

Tickets are available through our ticket portal.
